How to set up an email account on cPanel and change the storage quota

By default, there are no email accounts set up on your cPanel. So let’s first see how to set up your free email on your cPanel.

1. To create a new cPanel account, click on the ‘Advanced’ tab on your Bluehost control panel
2. This will take you to your cPanel. Scroll down to the “email” section. And click on “Email accounts”.
3. Click on the ‘Create’ button. This will take you to the “Create Email account page”. To create a new account, navigate to the domain drop-down, choose the domain or subdomain name. Then, type your preferred user name in the ‘Username’ field. The next thing you have to do is set your password. You can either create your own or use the password generator. Next, you come to the ‘quota’ section. Here, you can choose the amount of disk space you want to allot to the new email account

With all this set, go ahead and click the “create account” button.

One of the most important actions you will perform on an email account is allotting disk space to it.

1. To view, all your existing cPanel email accounts, click on the ‘Advanced’ tab on your Bluehost control panel
2. Scroll down to the Email section. And select ‘Email Accounts’. Here, you can see all the information about any email account.
   a. The email address
   b. The Restrictions
   c.  & Storage Space
3. To change the storage quota on any email account, click on ‘Manage’ next to the email account you want to change the quota for.
4. This will take you to the ‘Manage Email Accounts’ page. Scroll down to the Storage section. And change the quota of storage. Once you have made the necessary changes, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the ‘Update Email Setting’ button.

Once you get the confirmation, you can check the revised quota on the ‘Email Accounts’ page.
